When exploring our user onboarding process, we identified account transfers as a way to increase cash flow and a step many of our most active users took after opening an account. At that time though, this was not an action they could take within the app.
I interviewed our CX team and Finance team that processed transfers. I learned how retirement account transfers worked and reviewed wireframes with our teams to confirm viability.

We identified transfers we could categorize as “easy,” and I proposed streamlining that flow while sending more complicated transfers to a third party we were already using.
