C4 Forward: Framer development for a border security firm

C4 Forward LLC is a Texas firm that delivers border security, defense technology and training to partner nations. We built and customized its website in Framer, and the visual design came from the client’s side.
Client: C4 Forward · Industry: Defense, border security · What we did: Framer development and customization · Platform: Framer · Live: c4forward.com

About the client

C4 Forward helps nations deploy border security and C4ISR systems, and trains the people who run them. It says its team has delivered projects in over 25 countries across Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Its buyers are government agencies, integrators and defense contractors.

The challenge

C4 Forward sells complex programs to buyers who check every detail.
A long list of capabilities. Imaging, counter-UAV, training and program support all had to fit without a wall of text.
Buyers who check credentials. Government buyers look for registration numbers and a real address.
Reach is the proof. Work in four regions needed a clear place on the page.
A formal tone. The site had to read like a defense supplier, with clear next steps.

What we did

A first screen for government buyers

The headline reads “Advancing Global Security Through International Partnerships”.
Two next steps follow: “Contact Our Team” and “Explore Services”.

Capabilities in one grid

Fourteen capabilities, from counter-UAV solutions to train-the-trainer programs, sit in one grid, so a procurement team sees the full scope at a glance.
The Services page sets out four areas, C4ISR Systems Integration, Border Needs Assessment, Training & Capacity Building, and Program Management & Mission Support, each with its key features and a contact button.

Proof of reach

A Global Experience band shows the four regions the team has worked in.
The Projects page, “Proven Experience. Global Impact.”, features one project per region, such as Border Technology Integration in Central Asia and Riverine Training in Latin America.

The details buyers check

The footer of every page carries the D-U-N-S, CAGE and UEI numbers and the office address.
A closing line names the three buyer types: government agency, integrator or defense contractor.

Scope

Included:
Framer build and customization of seven pages: Home, About, Team, Projects, Services, Partners and Contact.
Responsive build for desktop and phone.
Not included:
Visual design: it came from the client’s side.
Copy, project details and registration data: these came from C4 Forward.

Results

The site is live on Framer at c4forward.com.
Seven pages, with the registration details government buyers look for in the footer of each one.

What we'd improve next

Expand the Partners page. Name the integrators and manufacturers C4 Forward works with, with logos and joint deployments.
Give each featured project its own page. Set out the problem, the system, the training and the result, cleared for public release.
Add a capability statement download. A one-page file with past work and the registration numbers is what procurement teams often ask for.

Working on something similar?

I design websites in Figma and build them in Framer or Webflow, so your team can edit every page without a developer. Message me here on Contra with your site or Figma file, and I'll reply with a plan and a fixed price.
