The Deposit Holder: Framer development for a legal tech deposit platform
The Deposit Holder Lawyers is an Australian law practice that holds and invests property deposits through its own online platform. We built its website in Framer, page by page, from a design the client provided.
Client: The Deposit Holder · Industry: Legal tech, property · What we did: Framer development · Platform: Framer · Live: thedepositholder.com.au
About the client
The Deposit Holder Lawyers gives legal services to sellers of real estate across Australia. Its platform keeps lawyers, buyers, sellers and agents on the same page about the deposit in a property sale, and lets the deposit earn interest while it is held. The company is The Deposit Holder Pty Ltd.
The challenge
Four parties share one deposit, and each of them cares about something different.
Three audiences on one site. Agents, lawyers, and buyers and sellers each need their own reasons to sign up.
A new way of doing an old job. Holding a deposit on a platform instead of a trust account needs a clear explanation.
A lot of legal detail. Terms, agreements and the fee schedule all had to be easy to find.
A design to match exactly. The design came from the client, so the build had to follow it closely on every screen.
What we did
The first screen: three rings around one deposit
The logo sits at the centre of three rings: Lawyers, Buyers & Sellers, and Real Estate Agents.
The headline says what it is: “The future of secure property deposit handling and investment.”
Two buttons follow, “Get Started Now” and “Explore All Features”, and “Launch App” stays in the menu.
Three feature cards and the platform
“An industry first in deposit handling” leads into three cards: Earn From Your Deposit, Secure, Real-Time Access, and No More Manual Risk.
A dark “What is The Deposit Holder?” section shows the platform on a laptop and lists what it does.
A Features page for each audience
Under “One Platform. Tailored Perspectives”, agents, buyers and sellers, and lawyers and conveyancers each get their own list of benefits.
A “How we compare” table sets the platform against the manual process on interest, visibility, compliance and accuracy.
Support and every agreement one click away
The Support page says what to include in a request and links straight to the platform sign-up.
The footer links the website terms, privacy policy, platform terms, representative agreement, legal engagement agreement, deposit handling agreement and fee schedule.
Scope
Included:
Framer build of every page: Home, Features, About, Support, Contact and the legal pages.
Responsive build for desktop and phone.
Links from the site into the client’s platform: Launch App, Get Started Now and Sign Up Now.
Not included:
Visual design: it came from the client’s design agency.
Brand, copy and legal documents: these came from the client.
The deposit platform: the app behind “Launch App” is the client’s own product.
Results
The site is live on Framer at thedepositholder.com.au.
Five main pages plus the legal pages, built to the client’s design.
All seven legal links sit in the footer of every page.
What we'd improve next
Add a “How it works” section. Show the deposit’s path in a few steps, from contract to release, so each party sees its part.
Add an FAQ for each audience. Agents, lawyers and sellers ask different questions about trust accounts, interest and cyber risk.
Add proof. Logos of agencies that use the platform would back the “industry first” claim on the home page.
Working on something similar?
I design websites in Figma and build them in Framer or Webflow, so your team can edit every page without a developer. Message me here on Contra with your site or Figma file, and I'll reply with a plan and a fixed price.
