Vacationing is stressful. Balancing where to stay, what to eat, places to explore, and things to experience can be difficult for travelers.
Enter Estrella Del Mar.
Located on the Papagayo Peninsula in Costa Rica, we aim to cater to every need of our guests. Our goal is to take the stress out of traveling by creating the ideal travel experience by working closely with our guests. When they arrive, they can relax in our luxury suites and enjoy everything we have to offer, knowing that we have curated the perfect vacation for them.
The resort's branding needed to reflect its mission to deliver a luxurious, peaceful vacation that is full of the calming blues and tans found on the Papagayo Peninsula. Despite its status as a high-end resort, Estrella Del Mar isn't pretentious, a fact that should be reflected in the branding.
From the logo inspired by a sunset on the ocean, to the custom menu designed for the resort restaurant, to the resort's social media, I was tasked with leading the creative direction of the brand and incorporating the above ideas into my work. The overall effect fits the guidelines to a tee: the brand feels calm and elevated, yet down-to-earth and places emphasis on all of the exciting adventures Costa Rica has to offer.
