Oh Mela: Custom E-commerce That Replaced Shopify

The challenge
Oh Mela is a lingerie brand selling in Uruguay and Argentina. Shopify couldn't handle what they needed: separate stock, prices and shipping for each country, plus promos like 3x2 and bundles.
What I did
UX and UI for a custom online store built in Next.js, with its own admin panel
Country detection on first visit, with separate catalog, stock, prices and promos for Uruguay and Argentina
Size calculator: shoppers enter their measurements and get their bra and garment size
Brand micro-interactions: a loading screen where the logo fills with color, and a welcome letter that slides out of an envelope
Result
Oh Mela moved off Shopify to a store designed around how they actually sell: two markets, one admin panel, and a shopping experience that feels like the brand.
Role: UI/UX design and front-end, as Design Lead at delabs.
