Best Restaurants in Marbella

The client- Leader of Best Restaurant in Marbella 👨‍🦰, wanted to make a website from scratch, he already had a very clear idea of what he needed and the type of design he was looking for.

My role & responsibilities: Unify the client's ideas and develop them on the website, where the web will have more importance in its mobile design, because most of the diners will enter from their cell phones.

The website should contain 3 menus of 3 different restaurants, because the client wants to maintain a general design on the website, but that each menu (web page) will be identified with the style of its corresponding restaurant (Meraki, Carpaccio and Circus).

🔜 The existence of parallax images in the mobile version.

🔜 Each menu should respect the general design of the website, but maintain the identity of each restaurant.

In this project I was chosen by my marketing company because I have experience with parallax effects and responsive custom designs.

🔎 The communication with the client was very fluid, we made some video calls where he explained me his ideas and I gave him feedback on the application of that idea to the web.

🔎 The main problem was the parallax effect for iPhones.

🔎 The coding challenge To fix the parallax effect on iPhones, as this was a direct request from the customer. The iPhones devices by default has disabled it, since it consumes a lot of resources.

🔎 The design challenge was to make the new website look consistent with the brand and with a good UX of each restaurant.

About the parallax effect on IPhones was forced to make the whole web based on iPhones and simulating the parallax effect with the game of layers between HTML and CSS.

For the design we were able to maintain total synchrony on the web, but with unique characteristics for each restaurant.

The client who hired us was very happy with the custom-built website.

Then, after a few weeks, the client told us that the end client was very happy with the website and how the different menus were structured.
