The company
tiniPod was an amazing idea brought to life by Newar, a passionate product designer and design engineer from New York. He had an idea to build a product that would incapsulate the Apple watch and make use of it like never before seen, especially if you had an older Apple watch laying around which just started collecting dust. The goal was to have people make use of their device in a completely different but yet familiar way (reminding of the old iPod).
The process
Client had a simple waitlist page website when reaching out and wanted to structure and build a simple landing page where we would incorporate an amazing scroll effect including the tinyPod and every info and feature of the product in a minimalist and modern look. His team made sure to provide us with all of the content and assets needed in order to start developing the advanced animations and laying out information on the page matching everything up.
The challenge was to create the scroll animation of the tinyPod which we created trough custom code. It's the first and most important aspect of the landing page since it's the first thing the user interacts with once it arrives on the website.
The result
Website was built in 5 weeks and the feedback from the community was absolutely amazing. It blew up in popularity ever since day one on YouTube, TheVerge, Endgadget, X.com and many other sources. This resulted in a lot of traffic to the website and amazing conversion rate which ultimately translated into record sales.
