A small behind-the-scenes look at the Juthour Olive Oil identity. This video shows part of the logo illustration process, from the initial drawing to seeing the mark applied on one of the packaging mockups. Since the full brand identity has already been shared, I wanted this post to focus more on the craft behind the mark and how it begins to live on the product. Sometimes the smallest details in a logo are what help the whole brand feel more grounded, intentional, and connected to its story.

Recently, I expanded one of my brand identity projects into a new product line, and it reminded me how much branding goes beyond just a logo. For Juthoor, I expanded the existing visual identity into a spice product line by carrying the brand system across labels, lids, product photography, and a cohesive family of blends. The original identity already had its own personality, color story, typography, and visual direction. For this expansion, I focused on translating that foundation into a product line that felt cohesive, elevated, and true to the brand’s story. I wanted each product to feel distinct while still belonging to the same brand world. Traditional, warm, elegant, and rooted in cultural storytelling. The goal was for the new line to feel like a natural next chapter. Fresh, but still familiar. This is my favorite part of brand design. Creating a system that has enough personality to be memorable, but enough flexibility to grow with the business.

This branding project was created for Juthoor, a Palestinian olive oil brand rooted in heritage, resilience, and cultural identity. The name “Juthoor,” meaning roots, represents connection to land, family, legacy, and belonging. The visual identity was inspired by centuries of Palestinian olive harvest traditions and centered around storytelling through symbolism. The final logo features a respected Palestinian woman (“Haja”) in traditional dress carrying olives — reflecting the generations of women who nurtured the land and preserved these traditions through time. Drawing inspiration from olive trees, handcrafted harvesting, traditional embroidery, and the landscapes of Palestine, the branding was designed to feel timeless, authentic, and deeply human. More than a product, the identity represents heritage, resilience, and a return to the roots.

Experiential Design + Immersive Graphics for JPMorganChase Winter Walk SF 2025 JPMorganChase came to Happily Events with a request: Create a memorable experience for visitors to the Winter Walk that provokes them to learn more about the work of JPMC. Over the past few years, JPMC has been investing heavily in the downtown area of San Francisco with the goal of supporting local and growing businesses. They noticed that investments were often displacing people and they wanted to use their capital to counter that. This event experience invited people to engage with an interactive map of the neighborhoods and light up the canopy. The QR codes helped visitors learn more about the work JPMC is doing throughout the city. The canopy experience welcomed the child in everyone, having iridescent "ornaments" and a flowing fabric that enticed people to look up. There was a moment in the experience where visitors were under a mirror that highlighted the area of the map below their feet that showed the area of highest investment by the company and beckoned them to know that they are part of that investment.

Rivers of Life Climate Festival | Brand Design, Curation, Experiential Design Working with Azim Premji University in Bangalore, India, I developed the creative direction and experiential design of a 16-day climate festival for students across the Bangalore region. The goal of the project was to highlight our experience and understanding of Rivers and showcase our changing relationship to it. Alongside my collaborators Debanshu, Saksham, Kunal and Vidya, we created an immersive educational experience, curating over 6,000 images, writing and editing collected stories and repackaging them to be digestible by the general public, specifically focused on middle school students. Over 10,000 people experienced this exhibition and the in-person and online presentations. It also received global recognition and was published in over 10 newspapers. Event Graphic Design + Wayfinding for American Public University System 2024-2026 Each year, the American Public University System, comprised of American Public University and American Military University share a weekend commencement celebration. This three-day fun-packed event starts with two external events: a 5K run and a Gala called #BEGREAT where they honor their faculty and staff. The weekend ceremony has been held at the Gaylord in National Harbor for the past 3 years and has scaled larger each year.
