AREA is a fictional creative technology studio exploring how AI-native workflows can shape modern digital identity design. I used Google Stitch to explore and refine the brand direction through typography studies, interaction concepts, motion systems, colour exploration, and in-place AI edits before rebuilding the final experience in Next.js with Framer Motion and deploying it on Vercel. The final site focuses on cinematic pacing, editorial restraint, atmospheric motion, and immersive interaction design inspired by modern creative studio websites. Live Site: https://area-snowy.vercel.app Stitch was strongest as a rapid creative direction and identity exploration tool. The in-place editing workflow made it easy to iteratively refine layouts, spacing, typography, and atmosphere while maintaining creative momentum. The workflow became most powerful when paired with production tooling, using Stitch to establish the creative system first, then translating the final direction into code for deeper interaction and motion refinement.

One By One Tattoo - AI-Powered Studio Platform For this challenge, I reimagined the digital experience for One By One Tattoo, exploring how AI and automation could create a smoother experience for both customers and staff. Instead of starting with a long enquiry form, customers complete a guided AI Consultation that captures their tattoo idea, placement, style and budget. The consultation generates a personalised Project Dossier with a recommended artist, estimated session duration, pricing guidance and AI-generated concept before flowing directly into booking and deposit payment. Alongside this, a site-wide AI Concierge provides instant answers to questions about artists, pricing, aftercare and availability, helping users navigate the platform or jump straight into the consultation flow. For the studio, I designed a complete admin platform to manage consultations, bookings, deposits, artists and customer communication from one place, replacing fragmented manual workflows with a single operational dashboard. Built entirely in Base44, the project combines AI, structured data and automation to create a production-ready platform that goes beyond a traditional tattoo studio website. PULSE is a concept for an intelligent freelancer operating system designed to bring projects, finances, notifications and AI-powered insights into a single command centre. I built the entire concept in Wonder, using Wonder Chat to rapidly explore layouts and interface ideas, shader generation to create a distinctive visual identity, and iterative prompting to refine the experience from rough concepts into a polished product. Rather than moving between multiple tools, Wonder allowed me to stay in a single creative workflow, making it much faster to experiment, iterate and improve every screen. The result is a premium, cohesive interface that demonstrates how AI-assisted design can accelerate the journey from idea to presentation-ready product while maintaining a high level of craft and visual consistency. https://app.wonder.so/talia/files/019f1a38-a1c2-7a51-9d44-8dc8bae6a646

LUCENTS - Forest Series 1 Lucents are ancient beings born from living light, quietly illuminating the world's oldest forests. Each Lucent has naturally evolved to protect a different habitat, developing unique forms while remaining part of the same ancient species. Forest Series I documents the first nine officially observed Lucents through a premium collectible brand inspired by natural history field guides, museum exhibitions and designer toys. I used Recraft to develop the characters, visual identity, packaging, retail concepts and collectible applications as one cohesive world rather than a single mascot. The Lucents are tiny ancient beings that carry the world's living light. For thousands of years they have quietly adapted to forests, rivers, mountains and skies, evolving into unique forms shaped by their habitats. Forest Series I introduces the first nine officially observed Lucents, each designed as a premium collectible while sharing the same species DNA. Every Lucent represents a different fragment of nature's light, encouraging collectors to discover, observe and protect their world. Lucents is a mascot species. Forest Series I introduces the first nine observed variants, designed entirely in Recraft Studio. https://www.recraft.ai/project/07af274c-469f-40d9-950f-063f9d2fb694

Today I've launched the next evolution of my non-fiction written work. For just over a year I've been writing long-form daily articles about Technology, Governance and the Human cost of the things we build at smarterarticles.co.uk (https://smarterarticles.co.uk) Six weeks ago I launched a podcast, taking one of my published articles, and reworking it for the podcast format, with a new episode weekly. Today I launched the accompanying website: smarterarticles.fm (https://smarterarticles.fm) My spec was simple:- 1. Keep it simple, and minimalistic. My articles are published on a simple site, headlines, and content, and nothing more. I wanted to keep that simplicity. 2. Clean, professional, broadsheet-style publication. 3. No admin system. The site and its content take care of itself. I publish articles on a site that has an RSS feed, and I publish a podcast that has an RSS feed, so this site consumes both and the source of truth is where the content is originally published. 4. Plain English. Clear, precise, human. Read the About page or the Privacy Policy. I'm not trying to hide behind technobabble, only clarity. 5. No Cookies. No Tracking. No Analytics. No Recommendation Engine. No Profiling. No Selling or Sharing of Personal Data, clearly stated as a deliberate decision not an oversight seeking correction. Here are some example pages, I'd encourage you, if you so wish, to visit the site and let me know your thoughts: smarterarticles.fm (https://smarterarticles.fm)

Another Indie Author project, completely different vibe for Millie Bramley. Cosy Mystery author with a very definite vision for what she wanted, but with a minimal budget. Death & Sourdough (https://www.amazon.com/stores/Millie-Bramley/author/B0GMK7DZ9Y) is a great premise and she's got such a refreshing attitude. Basic Author website, automations to pull in book data for minimal administrative overhead, MailerLite integration for newsletters. A real pleasure. https://www.milliebramley.co.uk

Veranda, a luxury residential concept landing page Veranda is a concept build I created for a fictional luxury residential brand. It is not client work or a real property. The images and hero motion were generated with AI as part of the creative process. I wanted to explore something that matters when building high-fidelity landing pages: after several rounds of changes, how do you make sure the final page still looks like the design that was approved? The site is built in Next.js with responsive layouts, self-hosted fonts, GSAP motion and an interactive walkthrough. I also built in a proper QA process around it, not just checking that the page loads and the buttons work. It compares 12 sections across five screen sizes against approved visual baselines. It flags visual drift, missing baselines and changes that have not been reviewed. I also tested interactions, accessibility, contrast, performance, browser behaviour and reduced-motion states. The main lesson for me was simple: a page can pass functional tests and still no longer be the page that was agreed.
