Development of Heymesh AI for 3D Printing

As soon as Nvidia released their Omniverse 3D research paper, I had to create Heymesh AI.

As 3D printing moved from hobbyist pastime garage creations to 3D manufacturing, it was obvious that a texture 3D product needed to exist. Whether it was for the jewellery industry, gaming, or artists using Blender and Cinema 4D. Text-to-3D would have and now is speeding up so much time for designers to go from idea to mould drastically improving workflows. Nvidia's Omniverse had over 3,000 3D meshes trained on the latest model back in 2022. This was enough to go from idea to initial 3D mesh, and with further prompting, you could be 98% confident that that mesh could become a usable mould. During this time, we spoke to every creative and business owner we knew the this meant running around Hatton Garden and setting up meetings with game studios to see how Heymesh could work within their business. We conducted over 50 interviews and ran 34 case studies being amongst the worlds first test to 3D platforms to exist worldwide.

Our initial generations were a hit and all the validation we need to continue! Our case studies included:
Industrial Design
Tom Dixon (Furniture + Objects)
In-browser Gaming
A Jewellers (Conceptual Design)
We supported many export times allowing us to work with a broad list of creatives and businesses saving hours per client.

2023 was a really interesting time for UI/UX design this was the first time there were murmurs within the tech ecosystem that you could go from text to wireframe. it was not good yet but I had to experiment with it! This UX flow was designed using Visily AI and then I later refined in Figma.

I first named the app Frosty when focusing on custom jewellery designers then later changed the name to Heymesh AI after seeing the broad scope we could offer to more industries. The Tech Stack
