A friend from the US has been working in London for 6 years and is prepping for his Life in the UK test, a crucial step towards residency for his young family. Over coffee, he mentioned how most learning resources were outdated or confusing and it was evident, he was clearly worried.

After checking the App Store myself, I seen what he was facing! Most apps felt neglected and uninspiring.

I reached out to a local test prep centre in Nottingham, gathered the latest materials, and connected with more students currently studying for the same test. Within days, We built a clean, accessible app that helps users prepare with clarity, confidence, and motivation.

What started as helping a friend has become a light product to support the test prep centre and thousands of expats on their journey to building their career in the UK. 🤍

I have scaled this app to over 140 downloads and 12 paying customers organically in under 2 weeks of the app being on the iOS app store.

We'll to continue growth, I need to launch the app to the android app store and work on an evergreen campaign so this app scales on autopilot. This app started as hackathon project but based on the downloads and user feedback it has proven to be an app of value to many and that is all the indication I need to continue development. By this next month, I would have been 1/2 major updates to the app and website and test on TikTok and Meta ads to track growth.
