The idea
A live demonstration of the IL Signal Studio "AI Ops Employee" pattern, built around Harrington & Cole, a fictional UK conveyancing practice. The firm and its matters are illustrative; the workflow itself is real and runs end to end.
The flow
A client enquiry is submitted on the public page
Claude classifies it: matter type, urgency, client tier
The matter is logged to a structured Google Sheets matter log
A reply is drafted for a fee earner to review
A Slack alert routes it to the team
The workflow: automation everywhere except the judgment call. Nothing is sent to a client automatically
All of it plays out live on the page in a few seconds. Nothing is auto-sent: the design principle is human approval at every judgment point. The AI removes the admin work around a decision, and a named person still makes the decision.
