By integrating Rive’s logic with their AI, the character automatically adapts its energy and lip-sync based on user text. This technical setup features modular outfits to swap styles without re-animating, custom viseme mapping for automated lip-sync driven by AI audio, and an integrated State Machine that manages all transitions and poses in one high-performance file. The result is a lightweight, scalable asset that reduces technical debt and simplifies product evolution.

Hey! Here’s my entry for the #RiveChallenge. I had this micro-game idea in mind, and this challenge was the perfect excuse to finally build it. I made everything in a pretty short window, so there are things I’d polish with more time, but I’m happy with how it turned out. The game is called "Tortoise vs Hare", inspired by the classic fable. It has a 3-screen interface, all vector assets created from scratch, one Master State Machine for both characters, full rigs with reactive expressions, hover-based speed control, and a final click to decide the winner.
