Rumedy

This project is a playful, character-driven animation created to introduce Rumedy, a platform that helps bars, restaurants, venues, and events upgrade their service with smart, AI-powered tools. The video uses humor and expressive storytelling to show how Rumedy simplifies ordering, payments, ticketing, and reservations for both guests and businesses. The piece was created in collaboration with illustrator Almendra.

After reviewing the client’s requirements and creating a visual moodboard, I teamed up with Almendra Ilustra, who designed the characters for the piece. I then handled the full 3D modeling and animation in Blender, shaping the world and performances. The final look was completed in After Effects, where I added compositing, SFX, and VFX to enhance the timing, personality, and overall atmosphere of the video.

The goal was to support Rumedy’s launch with a humorous promotional video that showcases the platform’s features in a simple and entertaining way. The piece needed to quickly communicate how Rumedy streamlines operations, boosts sales, and improves the guest experience — all while keeping a fun, approachable tone.
