Lessayer Where Belle Époque elegance meets contemporary minimalism.
The identity started with a simple challenge: how can a luxury pastry brand feel refined and timeless without relying on predictable visual codes?
The answer became a single geometric symbol combining three ideas a crown, a sliced cake, and a subtle reference to the New Zealand sun.

The three-meaning symbol is a beautiful bit of restraint—each reference stays legible without making the mark feel busy. The black-and-metallic presentation also fits the premium pastry positioning perfectly.

A crown and a sliced cake reading into a pastry mark makes sense, but the New Zealand sun reference is the detail I never would have guessed just from looking at the symbol. Is Lessayer actually based there, or is that more of a personal touch baked into it?
