I think dark can make color more stand out. I also notice that contrast, context, and layout more prominent in B. Paperclip on character looks so cute🥰!!!! Give it more personification.

B, and the reason matters more than the vote. B opens with the title lockup and the mascot so the brand idea lands before the screens do, A opens with mockups and reads as one more app shot. The gallery is also full of light covers, so B wins the scroll before anyone reads a word

That's a very cute mascot. I'd go with A. Even though I prefer the dark theme over the light one, I'd choose the light theme because it fits the character's personality better.
