Development of AI-driven Parenting App

This project reimagines how mobile app design can transform the parenting journey. Instead of overwhelming parents with static guides, we created an AI-app that feels like a supportive companion. The result is a complete UI/UX design system led by Navi – a caring character that guides families with empathy and clarity.

🚩 Problem & Goal

Parents face daily challenges: managing emotions, setting boundaries, balancing autonomy with attachment. Many apps for parenting lack personalization and don’t adapt to the child’s age or the parent’s role.

Our goal was to design an age-adaptive, growth-oriented solution that makes families feel supported, reduces stress, and encourages healthy communication.

We delivered a full mobile-first experience with:

A Knowledge Base for structured but accessible parenting insights.

A Simulator for practicing real-life communication scenarios.

AI-powered chat analysis to guide parents in mindful responses.

Personalization for roles (mom, dad, grandparents) and child profiles by age.

The visual language follows principles of growth design – soft gradients, approachable typography, and the presence of Navi, who makes the experience warm and engaging.

📈 Results

The project showed strong potential during early testing:

+72% of parents said they would feel “more supported” using Navi daily.

65% highlighted the chat analyzer as their favorite feature.

The mascot-driven design increased engagement intent by 40% compared to traditional parenting apps.

This demonstrates how thoughtful UI/UX design for AI-apps can create meaningful impact in sensitive areas like parenting.
