Reached the next big milestone here on Contra.
And while the number matters less to me than what sits behind it, it tells me that clients trusted me and came back. That's the part I care about.
A lot of freelance work stays on the surface. Someone hands you a task and you build exactly that. I try to work differently, because I am an engineer. I do frontend and backend, but I also think about the business side and what the client actually needs, which is often not the same as what they asked for at the start.
That is the work I want to keep doing. Thanks to everyone who trusted me so far.

thanks Maty & good question. My habit is to always overdeliver and make the project a huge success and I think that has a big impact.
Overdelivering as a repeatable habit rather than a one-off is a good distinction. Does that usually mean extra scope, faster turnaround, or something less obvious like better communication?

Congrats on the 10k mark. The part about thinking through what the client actually needs versus what they asked for is what separates an engineer from someone just executing tickets, that's probably why they keep coming back.
