Designing a content hub for a 75-location franchise network
—
One challenge the marketing team mentioned was collecting authentic content from dozens of franchise locations. Staff were busy, follow-up was inconsistent, and valuable stories often never made it to the marketing team.
Instead of thinking about the problem as "we need more content," I approached it as a workflow problem.
I designed a lightweight submission experience that would allow local teams to upload photos, videos, or voice notes in under two minutes. The concept focused on reducing friction, making participation feel effortless, and creating a repeatable system that could scale across every location.
Although this was an exploratory concept, it reflects how I like to approach design: start with the operational bottleneck, then create an experience that makes the desired behavior easier.
