What do you think could be the reason?
I've been applying for motion design jobs on Contra for the past 4 months (including 1 month with Contra Premium), specializing in SaaS and explainer videos, but I haven't landed a single project yet.
Everyone talks about computers exploding during renders. Nobody talks about the mind exploding while crafting a high-converting storyboard.
I just want to say one thing:
Before jumping into animation, having a clear approach is far more important. Start with a storyboard or...
Everything is bullshit.:😡
what will you do if you client say this after you deliver them your explainer/ animation video?
thats why its better to make a story board and send them for review if they like you can continue with animation otherwise do revision in storyboard before animation, things will become easer.
Over the last 3 months, I applied for many Motion Designer positions. Around 5 companies responded positively, and the interviews went really well. They seemed interested in my skills and even gave me test tasks.
