Domestica Records. Record and Publishing Company.

In 2010, a year before graduating in graphic design, I set out to merge my two great passions —art and music— by founding the record label Domestica Records. With a distinctive approach at the time, the brand’s visual identity played a key role in its success. The focus wasn’t just on the music but also on the visuals, creating a cohesive aesthetic universe through physical editions and digital platforms, spanning all promotional channels. This approach earned Domestica international recognition and global distribution across all five continents. Domestica Records’ releases were featured and played on major music distribution and media platforms, such as The Vinyl Factory, The Wire, Bandcamp, NTS, and many more. In 2014, an exhibition in Palermo, Italy, showcased the label’s catalog.

Exploring the endless possibilities vinyl offers as a medium, I took every release as an opportunity to experiment with printing techniques, packaging, and design—shaping a strong, recognizable identity for both the label and myself as a visual communicator.

Additionally, throughout my time leading this venture, I gained first-hand experience in the complexities and challenges of managing an internationally recognized company operating across digital and physical landscapes, balancing the roles of creative director and manager.

Over nearly 12 years, Domestica Records released more than 70 albums by national and international artists. Most editions sold out quickly, some within weeks of release. The musical focus was on uncovering and carefully restoring previously unreleased material—mainly within the electronic music genre—including demos originally recorded on cassette or reel-to-reel tapes in the 1980s, and publishing them on vinyl for the first time.
