To create the grant database, I
1) Defined the database criteria including the:
Funding Amount: Different levels of funding are offered by various grants.
Eligibility: The specific qualifications required for applicants.
Focus Area: The primary areas of interest or sectors targeted by the grants (e.g., technology, healthcare).
Geographic Coverage: The regions or countries where the grants were applicable.
Application Process: The steps and requirements needed to apply for the grants.
2) Conducted research and data collection:
Conducted thorough research to identify various grants available for startups and organizations.
Collected detailed information for each grant, ensuring it covered all the defined criteria.
3) Database structure and data entry:
Created a structured Excel spreadsheet with columns representing each criterion (e.g., Funding Amount, Eligibility, Focus Area, Geographic Coverage, Application Process).
Designed the layout to facilitate easy data entry and future updates.
Entered the collected grant information into the respective columns of the Excel spreadsheet.
Ensured data accuracy and consistency to maintain the reliability of the database.
