In 2024, Medmova approached me to design their medical shopping platform. They needed a secure, user-friendly platform that would let users source medical drugs and prescriptions from multiple pharmacies.

MedMova is a medical shopping company designed to provide convenient and reliable delivery of medications directly to customers. With the increasing demand for accessible healthcare services, particularly in remote and underserved areas, traditional methods of obtaining medications can be cumbersome and inefficient. Customers face challenges such as long wait times, limited medication availability, and the inconvenience of traveling to pharmacies. By leveraging technology and logistics, MedMova aims to bridge this gap and ensure that everyone, regardless of their location or income, has quick and affordable access to the medications they need. Objective: To design an efficient, user-friendly platform that enhances medication accessibility and improves the customer experience while optimizing operations for partner pharmacies.

Famasi: Observed how Famasi automates prescription refills and medication reminders, which informed MedMova’s prescription management and refill notification features.

Helium Health: Explored their digital health records and compliance practices, applying similar trust and security principles to MedMova’s prescription verification process.

Global E-Pharmacy Apps: Learned about seamless payment integration, real-time tracking, and customer support models, all of which influenced MedMova’s user experience design.

These insights shaped MedMova into a holistic, technology-driven solution tailored to Nigeria’s unique healthcare access challenges.
