Aclima Platform Redesign for Clarity

Aclima is building a practical way to check the health of the air and track climate-changing pollution, street by street. Using a network of sensors on vehicles and in fixed locations, they measure air pollution and greenhouse gases at a scale cities can use.

The challenge was clarity. Air quality science is complex. Aclima collects data to help people breathe cleaner air, but the technology can feel intimidating.

The redesign leads with the core idea, uses simple language and provide overall clarity. We replaced the busy hero video with a simple 3D animation to explain the concept in seconds. Real video is great proof, but is a lot to interpret at once. We brought the community aspect so it feels human, not just infrastructure. We tightened hierarchy so the value shows up immediately and extended the system across key touch points to keep the experience consistent.

The result: clearer story, faster understanding, stronger trust.
