GenJs is a Christian community brand focused on inspiring faith, fellowship, and purpose among young believers. I was brought in to develop a brand identity, including a logo and merch designs, that clearly communicated the brand’s mission and fostered a sense of belonging.

GenJs helps young Christians connect, grow spiritually, and express their faith boldly. The brand stands for inspiration, purpose, and community, giving members meaningful ways to showcase their beliefs through apparel and visual content.

Build a brand identity and merch collection that feels modern, relatable, and faith-driven—something that reflects Christian values while resonating with a youthful, style-conscious audience.
What I Wanted to Achieve
I aimed to design a visual system that communicated faith, unity, and energy. The logo and merch needed to create a recognizable identity, strengthen community pride, and make faith-based messages wearable and visually compelling.
Challenges
Designing for a faith-based community required balancing spiritual symbolism with modern aesthetics to ensure the brand felt authentic, fresh, and appealing without being clichéd or heavy-handed.
Four Problems I Faced
Creating a logo that represented faith, community, and youthful energy in a single mark.
Developing a color palette that felt vibrant and modern, while maintaining reverence and approachability.
Choosing typography that was readable, stylish, and aligned with the brand’s uplifting message.
Translating the identity into merch designs that looked appealing on T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories.
Solutions / Outcome
I designed a bold and meaningful logo supported by a vibrant yet balanced color palette and modern typography. The merch collection applied the identity cohesively across apparel and digital assets. The final result strengthened GenJs’ brand recognition, enhanced community engagement, and positioned the brand as a modern, faith-driven movement for young Christians.
