Companion Home Care is a family-run home care provider serving Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and surrounding regions across the UK. They needed a website that could communicate trust, warmth, and professionalism to families making one of the most personal decisions they'll ever face: choosing care for a loved one.

The site spans around 25 pages covering specialized care types (dementia, palliative, disability, companionship, and more), regional landing pages for local SEO, and a clear onboarding flow that walks families from first contact through to receiving care.

The front end was built with smooth scrolling transitions to give the experience a calm, unhurried feel that mirrors the brand's approach to care itself. WordPress handles the backend as a CRM layer, giving staff a manageable system for internal operations and client entity management without needing a separate platform.

Design decisions were driven by the audience: families under stress, often searching on behalf of elderly parents. That meant generous whitespace, clear typography hierarchy, and a visual tone that feels reassuring rather than clinical. Every service page follows a consistent structure so visitors can compare care types without re-learning the layout.

The project ran from February to March 2026, covering design direction, full page builds, CRM configuration, and launch.
