Turning the Aegir Aqua identity into a business communication system
After establishing the Aegir Aqua brand identity and packaging direction, the next stage was translating the same visual language into a professional presentation deck.
The objective was not simply to make individual slides look attractive. The deck needed to function as a clear communication system: structured enough to maintain consistency, flexible enough to accommodate different types of information, and visually connected to the wider Aegir Aqua brand.
The challenge
Presentation design introduces a different set of constraints from packaging or logo design.
A deck has to handle changing amounts of content while preserving hierarchy, readability, pacing, and brand recognition. Some slides may need to communicate a single key message, while others may contain more detailed information, imagery, statistics, or supporting points.
The challenge was therefore to create a visual system that could adapt to different content without making the presentation feel repetitive or inconsistent.
Translating the brand into presentation design
I started by taking the existing Aegir Aqua visual identity and defining how it should behave in a slide-based environment.
The typography, spacing, colors, imagery, and graphic language were adapted specifically for presentation use. The aim was to make every slide feel recognizably Aegir Aqua while still giving the content enough space to communicate clearly.
Rather than designing each page as an isolated composition, I built a repeatable visual language that could support the entire deck.
Information hierarchy
One of the main priorities was creating a clear hierarchy for different levels of information.
I developed a consistent approach for:
Primary headlines
Supporting titles
Body copy
Key statements
Statistics and highlighted information
Image-led slides
Graphic elements
Section transitions
Calls to action and supporting notes
This made it easier for viewers to understand what mattered most on each slide and allowed information-heavy layouts to remain organized.
Layout system
The deck was built around a flexible layout system instead of a single repeated template.
Different compositions could be used depending on the content, but the underlying spacing, typography, color relationships, and graphic treatment remained consistent.
This balance between consistency and variation helped the deck feel professional without becoming monotonous.
Visual storytelling and pacing
Presentation design is also about the relationship between slides.
I considered how the deck would feel when viewed from beginning to end, using scale, whitespace, image placement, typography, and branded elements to create rhythm between sections.
More information-heavy slides were balanced with visually lighter moments, helping the presentation feel easier to follow and giving important messages more impact.
Designed for practical use
The presentation was produced in Canva so it could remain practical for the Aegir Aqua team after handoff.
This meant the final deliverable was not a static showcase file. It was a reusable presentation system that could be edited, updated, duplicated, and adapted without requiring specialist design software.
The layouts were therefore designed with both visual quality and day-to-day usability in mind.
Maintaining continuity with the wider brand
Because the deck was developed after the brand identity and packaging, I was able to carry the same visual logic directly into the presentation.
Typography, color, product imagery, visual hierarchy, and overall art direction were aligned with the brand work that came before it.
This helped the deck feel like part of one larger Aegir Aqua system rather than a standalone corporate document.
My role
I handled:
Presentation art direction
Slide design
Layout-system development
Information hierarchy
Typography
Brand implementation
Image treatment
Branded graphic elements
Visual pacing
Consistency across slides
Final Canva production

Outcome
The finished deck extended Aegir Aqua's identity into a professional business communication system.
It gave the brand a consistent framework for presenting information while remaining visually connected to the identity, packaging, 3D product imagery, and wider brand experience.
The result was a presentation that could function both as a polished external-facing asset and as a reusable internal system for future communication.
