Bringing the Aegir Aqua brand into a complete digital experience

Following the identity, packaging, 3D visualization, and presentation work, the next stage was bringing Aegir Aqua online.
I designed and developed the website using Lovable, carrying the visual system established earlier in the project into a responsive digital experience.
The goal was to make the website feel like a natural continuation of the brand rather than a generic website with Aegir Aqua styling added afterward.

The challenge

The website had to connect several parts of the brand at once: identity, product presentation, imagery, messaging, navigation, and responsive behavior.
A visual system that works well on packaging does not automatically translate to the web. Typography, spacing, image scale, content hierarchy, and product presentation all needed to be reconsidered for an interactive environment.
At the same time, the experience had to remain clear, intuitive, and easy to navigate across desktop and mobile.

Information architecture and UX

Before focusing on visual polish, I structured how visitors would move through the site and how information should be prioritized.
I worked on:
Page hierarchy
Information architecture
Section structure
Content flow
Calls to action
Product presentation
Navigation
Desktop experience
Mobile experience
The aim was to create a clear journey through the brand without introducing unnecessary complexity.

Translating the identity into web design

The existing Aegir Aqua identity became the foundation for the digital design.
Typography, brand colors, spacing, visual hierarchy, imagery, and product assets were adapted for screen use while maintaining consistency with the physical brand.
This was especially important because the website needed to feel connected to the packaging and 3D product work that users might see elsewhere.
Rather than redesigning the brand for the web, I translated the established visual language into an interactive format.

Product presentation

The 3D product visuals created during the earlier branding phase became an important part of the digital experience.
Because these assets were designed specifically for Aegir Aqua, the website could use consistent branded product imagery rather than relying on disconnected generic visuals.
This created a stronger relationship between the physical product, the brand identity, and the website experience.

Development in Lovable

I used Lovable to develop the website and turn the approved visual direction into a functioning responsive build.
The development process focused on maintaining the intended design while ensuring that layouts adapted effectively across different screen sizes.
This included refinement of:
Responsive sections
Typography scaling
Image behavior
Navigation
Content alignment
Spacing and rhythm
Product presentation
Mobile layouts
Interactive behavior
The goal was not simply to shrink the desktop design onto smaller screens, but to preserve hierarchy and usability at each breakpoint.

Responsive refinement

A significant part of the work involved reviewing the website at different viewport sizes and adjusting the composition where necessary.
Desktop layouts often have space for larger imagery, wider typography, and more complex arrangements. On mobile, those same sections need to be reorganized so the experience remains clear and intentional.
I refined spacing, text scale, image placement, section order, and alignment to ensure the mobile experience felt designed rather than compressed.

Maintaining brand consistency

Because I had already worked on Aegir Aqua's identity, packaging, and product visualization, I was able to carry the same creative logic into the website without a handoff between separate designers.
This continuity allowed the full project to connect naturally:
Brand Identity → Packaging → 3D Product Visualization → Presentation → Website
Each stage built on the work before it.

My role

I was responsible for:
Website design
Creative direction
UI/UX
Page architecture
Responsive layouts
Brand implementation
Product presentation
Lovable development
Mobile optimization
Visual refinement
Testing
Final implementation

Tools

Lovable · Figma · Adobe Photoshop

Outcome

The final website completes the wider Aegir Aqua brand ecosystem by connecting the identity, packaging, product imagery, and business messaging in one digital experience.
Instead of existing as an isolated website, it functions as the digital extension of the broader brand system developed across the project.
The result is a responsive, brand-consistent online presence that carries the same visual language established across Aegir Aqua's physical and presentation materials.
