As a leading petrochemical company on the western tip of Java Island, Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia (MCCI) actively empowers nearby communities through its CSR programs. Among its many initiatives, one economic project taps into local natural resources—purple yam, moringa leaves, and bananas—turning them into potential snack products. MCCI tasked me with designing packaging for these goods in two formats: a cardboard box for purple yam-based pastries and pouches for dried snacks made from moringa leaves and bananas.
