Novex is a mobile AI image generator and photo editor. We designed the whole product at 7 Seers: UX, UI, design system, and UI kit, from first map to engineering handover in 10 weeks.

Anyone can generate an image now. Almost nobody can control what comes back. Most AI image apps stop at the generate button, so when a result is close but not right, people start over. Novex needed to make the part after generation feel as easy as typing a prompt, without turning a phone screen into a desktop editor.

A create flow that steers, not guesses. Prompt field, reference images, ratio, resolution up to 8K, style, pose, and composition, with eight variants per run. Editing on the image itself. Contrast, shadows, highlights, temperature, saturation, and exposure all live on one dial in the same spot, so you learn it once. HSL and tonal curves stay out of the way until you need them. Five AI tools with one flow. Inpaint, remove, expand, background replace and upscale all work the same way: select, adjust, preview, confirm. A community loop. A home feed, makers to follow, collections and profiles. Every post keeps the prompt that made it, so the feed doubles as inspiration. A design system before any screen. Six colour families, fifteen type steps in Gilroy, a custom icon set on one grid, and every component in every state.

We kept the interface quiet so the images could lead. One accent colour, one control shape, and edits happen on the image, not in a panel beside it. In a tool this dense, consistency is what makes it feel simple, so we designed the system first and let around 55 screens grow out of it.
