Role Brand & Social Designer
Scope 88 marketing ads 15 carousel posts (Instagram + LinkedIn)

Overview

Retronyms is a B2B company focused on simplifying complex workflows through digital solutions. The goal of this project was to translate long-form blog content into visually engaging, high-performing social assets that drive brand awareness and organic growth.

The Challenge

Retronyms had valuable blog content, but it wasn’t being fully leveraged across social platforms. The challenge was to:
Break down dense, text-heavy blog posts into digestible content
Maintain clarity while simplifying technical messaging
Create educational visuals for a B2B audience
Ensure consistency across high-volume output

The Strategy

I developed a repeatable content system that transformed a single blog post into multiple carousel and ad variations.
Content Approach
Problem → Solution storytelling
Educational, value-first messaging
Clear hierarchy to guide quick consumption
Design Approach
Bold, minimal layouts to reduce cognitive load
Strong typographic contrast for readability
Consistent visual system to scale across 100+ assets
Platform-native formatting for Instagram & LinkedIn

Execution

Carousels (15 total) Each carousel was structured to maximize engagement:
Hook (attention-grabbing pain point)
Context (why it matters)
Insight (breaking down the issue)
Solution (Retronyms offering)
CTA (subtle, non-salesy)
Marketing Ads (88 total)
Variations in messaging, layout, and visual hierarchy
A/B-friendly formats to test performance
Designed for organic-first distribution with paid potential

Results

Scaled a single blog post into multiple high-performing content pieces
Increased consistency and output across social channels
Strengthened brand awareness through cohesive visual identity
Improved content readability and engagement for a B2B audience

Key Takeaways

Repurposing content is a growth multiplier when paired with strong design systems
B2B content performs best when it feels simple, not simplified
Visual clarity is just as important as messaging clarity
Designing for scale requires both creativity and structure
