A quick update on Trail Scope, the app I built for the Config Makeathon. It's now called El Trillo ("el TREE-yoh"), the name people here actually use for the trail. It's a simple thing. If you hike, bike, or run in Puerto Rico, you can check a trail's condition before you go, or report it after. No group chats, no waiting. Reports expire after three days, so what you're seeing is current, not last month's mud. I launched El Trillo ("el TREE-yoh") a few weeks ago on one park's community channel. 26 parks and 79 trails have been added to the list and the response has been generous, people checking it before a ride, sending notes about what they'd want next, asking when their trail is getting added. That kind of feedback is the best part of building something for a community you're part of. There are 50+ weekly active users now, which surprised me, I haven't promoted it beyond that one post. The Makeathon build was just the start. I've kept working on it since, mostly based on what people tell me they need. Visit from you mobile device. - https://eltrillo.app/
