I served as the Business Analyst, Architect, and Developer on a project to completely re-do the renewals calculations. This was done through various price rules that had to take various factors into consideration, such as many different discounts, pro-rated pricing, product types, and more.
Overall, due to the various calculation events, evaluation order and events on the 200+ price rules, 450+ price actions, non-price rule automation, there were millions of outcomes to account for. I successfully implemented the desired calculations and formulas which in turn empowered the business to succeed. The work on this project increased the ARR on renewals around 10%.
