I was the Product Marketing Lead for Dasher Preferences, an in-app pilot that let Dashers choose the work they want to do so they can quickly accept the deliveries they’re ready for and complete them with higher quality.
This was a strategic bet to increase DoorDash's key platform metrics (like order acceptance rates and delivery quality), and give Dashers control over how they want to work.
It was well received among the Dasher community, and achieved the goals we set out to conquer: increase overall delivery quality, and give Dashers a better work experience as we ultimately set up DoorDash to be a platform for flexible gig work.
