I had the privilege of leading the product design team at RentEase to completely overhaul its web application and website. RentEase is a transformative platform addressing a critical housing challenge for over 200 million Nigerians by offering flexible, monthly rental options that reshape the property rental landscape.

The redesign went beyond improving visual appeal—it was a comprehensive overhaul of the user experience (UX). Key areas of focus included:

Onboarding: Simplified steps for first-time users to ensure a seamless start.

User Dashboard: Enhanced usability and accessibility for renters and property owners.

Properties Upload & Management: Streamlined processes, empowering users to upload and manage properties tailored to their preferences.

A standout feature was the reengineered property search and personalization tool, enabling renters to find homes that match their unique needs while giving them greater control over their housing choices.

This redesign addressed a significant pain point: the burden of upfront annual rental payments. RentEase eliminates this challenge by offering manageable monthly rental options, making housing accessible to individuals and families regardless of their financial or geographic circumstances.
