Overview Valle D’oro is a boutique restaurant and wine bar located in a touristic village setting, where atmosphere plays a central role in the overall experience. The project focused on creating a refined yet grounded brand identity that reflects both the authenticity of local culture and the sophistication of a curated dining space.
The Challenge The main challenge was to balance three key attributes: organic, heritage-driven, and premium. The brand needed to avoid looking either too rustic or overly modern. Instead, it required a visual language that feels natural and timeless, while still carrying a sense of elegance suitable for a boutique wine and dining experience.
Design Strategy The approach was rooted in natural forms and imperfect geometries inspired by food, materials, and rural textures. By embracing irregularity and reducing visual noise, the system builds authenticity through simplicity. The strategy focused on creating a flexible design language that could seamlessly adapt across different applications without losing its character.
Visual Identity The logotype is based on a refined serif structure, establishing a classic and trustworthy tone. Supporting visuals are built from abstract, organic shapes referencing wine, food, and natural elements. A custom icon system was developed with a raw, stamp-like aesthetic, reinforcing the handcrafted feeling. The color palette consists of earthy reds, warm neutrals, and deep greens — directly connected to wine culture, soil, and nature — creating a rich yet balanced visual atmosphere.
Outcome The final identity positions Valle D’Oro as a distinctive boutique destination that feels both authentic and elevated. The brand successfully communicates a sensory experience where tradition meets contemporary refinement, enhancing both the physical space and the product presentation.
