UI Design for Media Management Platform

Helmut is a project manager & stream designing tool that helps major broadcasters around the world keep track of all their projects, templates, preferences, and profiles for post-production. It‘s a tool that is highly configurable and connectable across many applications. The challenge: Finding a balance between very technical features and usability, for example, for non-tech-savvy TV editors.

Technical features were presented in a way that was accessible and intuitive, without compromising on the tool‘s robust capabilities. Step-by-step tutorials, easy navigation, and personalized profiles allowed even non-tech-savvy editors to quickly grasp and effectively use the platform. The result was a versatile tool that bridged the gap between high-tech functionality and user-friendly design, catering to a broad spectrum of users in the broadcasting industry with a high information density where needed.
