Full Rebrand, Website Re-design & Direct Marketing Piece

When Genesa Corp., a long-standing Vancouver accounting firm, decided it was time to modernize and reposition its brand, it brought me in to lead the complete creative transformation. The firm was preparing for a complete name change, identity overhaul, and revised marketing strategy — under a tight timeline and with the expectation of a cohesive, elevated new image.
What followed was a multi-stage rebranding project that included a new company name, a modern visual identity, a redesigned WordPress website, and a custom direct-marketing piece that introduced Genesa’s renewed positioning to the marketplace.

Challenge

The previous brand lacked clarity and visual personality. Genesa needed a contemporary identity that accurately reflected the scale, professionalism, and forward-thinking nature of their services. The rebrand also had to communicate trust, expertise, and human connection — key values of their leadership team.
The firm wanted:
A new name that captured their purpose and direction.
A modern, distinctive logo and visual system.
A complete website redesign built for clarity, credibility, and long-term growth.
A unique print marketing piece to announce the new brand to existing and prospective clients.
All with a very compressed timeline.

Solution

1. Brand Naming & Logo Design

Through multiple collaborative brainstorming sessions with the leadership team, the firm selected the name Genesa Corp. — a word that suggests genesis, growth, and foundational strength.
I then designed a clean, modern wordmark paired with a simple geometric symbol system in a fresh, professional colour palette. The result is a timeless identity that scales effortlessly across digital and print applications.

2. Website Design (WordPress)

The new Genesa website was built around clarity, organization, and visual storytelling.
Key features include:
A refreshed, consistent visual language
Strong hero imagery and custom photography direction
Clear service pathways for users
A modern, responsive layout that elevates the firm’s credibility
Well-structured content to support long-term SEO
The redesigned site positioned Genesa as a future-focused, people-centric accounting firm.
A custom-designed and printed fold-out direct-marketing piece.

3. Direct Marketing Piece

To launch the new brand, I created a custom fold-out marketing piece — an attention-grabbing, tactile design that communicated the firm’s values, services, and personality.
This piece played a crucial role in introducing the new Genesa brand to the market and helped internal teams present the firm with greater confidence.

Results

The rebrand gave Genesa a unified, modern identity that matched their level of expertise.
The new website provided clarity, credibility, and a dramatically improved user experience.
The strategic print piece strengthened the launch and delivered a memorable first impression.
Genesa emerged with:
A refined, professional brand identity
Strong visual cohesion across all touchpoints
A website that supports long-term growth and client trust
A unique direct-marketing asset that reinforced the firm’s updated positioning
