Folderly’s goal was to provide value to their audience through the Outreach Academy while positioning themselves as industry thought leaders. They needed a platform that would support rich content, including lessons, tests, and certification, and integrate with other tools like HubSpot and SendGrid for seamless user engagement.

Folderly required a fully responsive, user-friendly application that could deliver content across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Key Business Risks

Without a scalable, high-quality platform, Folderly risked falling short on providing an engaging and valuable resource for their audience. Additionally, any delay in launching the platform could affect their ability to attract early users and grow their audience effectively.

SOLUTION

Approach

Responsive Design: I developed a bug-free application optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices to ensure consistent functionality and accessibility for all users.
Content Management System: The platform included a flexible course system, allowing admins to create, edit, and organize modules, lessons, and tests with ease.
Third-Party Integrations: To streamline user engagement and automate email communications, I integrated HubSpot for marketing automation and SendGrid for email notifications.
Certification and User Engagement: The system allowed users to complete the course, test their knowledge, and receive certification, enhancing the overall user experience and engagement.

Implementation

Development and Timeline
Over a three-week period, I designed, built, and tested the Outreach Academy platform to ensure full functionality and responsive design. Each component—from content management to user interface—was optimized for ease of use, allowing Folderly’s team to manage the Academy independently.
Technology Stack
I used a combination of web development tools and integrated HubSpot and SendGrid to ensure smooth data flow and communication. These integrations provided Folderly with robust tools for tracking user engagement and sending automated notifications.

RESULTS

User Adoption

Folderly’s Outreach Academy launched successfully and attracted over 600 students within the first few weeks. The platform’s intuitive design and automated engagement tools contributed to strong user adoption and positive feedback from users.
