BuyPower Pass is a digital solution aimed to simplify property and utility management across Africa. It streamlines operations for residents and facility managers with features like real-time utility tracking, easy bill payments, visitor access management, and maintenance requests. Replacing manual processes with a user-friendly platform enhances efficiency and community living standards.

To create a user-friendly platform that simplifies property and utility management for estate residents, facility managers, and property managers. By addressing pain points such as delayed maintenance, complex billing, and manual processes, the platform aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve transparency, and elevate community living standards across African estates

I followed a 5-stage design process—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—ensuring user-centric solutions while keeping the process iterative and flexible, allowing for continuous refinements based on feedback.

I conducted user interviews to understand the pain points of estate residents and facility managers. To gain deeper insights, I also performed a competitive analysis, examining similar platforms like Venco to identify best practices and gaps in the market. This combination of user research and competitive benchmarking allowed me to define user needs and opportunities, laying a strong foundation for a user-centric and competitive design solution.

I created wireframes to outline the app’s structure and core features. These sketches were presented to stakeholders, allowing us to validate design decisions early and align on the project’s direction before moving to high-fidelity prototypes.

After validating the concept with the client using low-fidelity wireframes, I designed high-fidelity prototypes for the BuyPower Pass mobile app, focusing on visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

The Request Service feature streamlines how residents report and track maintenance issues, enhancing communication and ensuring timely resolutions.

The Pay Bills flow was designed to simplify utility payments for residents, offering a seamless and transparent process that enhances convenience and eliminates delays.

The Emergency Flow was created to provide residents with a quick and efficient way to report urgent issues, ensuring prompt responses and enhanced safety within the community.
