FODCON is a social media platform that unites food enthusiasts, chefs, and culinary professionals in an inclusive and dynamic space. The platform empowers users to share recipes, explore culinary creations, organize events, and connect within the global food industry. Leveraging AI technology, FODCON features an intelligent chatbot that helps users discover recipes, learn cooking techniques, and get personalized recommendations for the best recipes and chefs. With a focus on fostering community, sustainability, and creativity, FODCON delivers a personalized, interactive experience that celebrates the love for food and culinary exploration.

To create a vibrant social media platform that connects food enthusiasts, chefs, and culinary professionals while leveraging AI technology to enhance user experiences. By providing tools for recipe discovery, interactive learning, and global networking, FODCON aims to foster a community that celebrates food, promotes creativity, and empowers users with personalized culinary insights and connections.

The design of FODCON followed a structured 5-stage process: Empathize, to understand user needs and challenges; Define, to establish clear problem statements; Ideate, to brainstorm creative solutions; Prototype, to develop interactive mockups; and Test, to gather feedback and refine the design. This iterative approach ensured a user-centered and functional product.

I designed the FODCON home screen UI to ensure seamless navigation, enabling users to effortlessly switch between Stories and Meets while providing easy access to the AI chatbot for personalized recipe recommendations and culinary guidance.

I designed the recipe flow to provide users with a detailed view of recipes, including a clear breakdown of ingredients and step-by-step instructions for a seamless cooking experience.

I designed the culinary section UI to give users easy access to all available recipes, classes, and chefs, while also enabling them to purchase recipes and classes directly for a seamless experience.

An engaging live session experience features a dynamic UI that encourages interaction and allows users to tip chefs during live cooking demonstrations, enhancing community connection and support.

I designed the create-recipe screen as a step-by-step process to streamline the user experience, reducing cognitive load and making it effortless to input ingredients, instructions, and other details.

My Chef UI featuring an AI chatbot that enables users to ask questions about cooking specific dishes while also suggesting the best recipes available on the platform for a personalized culinary experience.

I designed the community section to allow users to join groups aligned with their interests, engage with community content, interact with members, and share their own posts, recipes, and reels, fostering a collaborative and interactive environment.

Throughout the FODCON project, I encountered challenges in balancing user needs with technical constraints, particularly in integrating AI-driven features seamlessly. However, this experience taught me the importance of iterative design, effective collaboration, and maintaining a user-centric approach. By navigating these challenges, I developed stronger problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of creating intuitive, engaging, and functional user experiences.
