Executive Assistant to the Ambassador of Peru in Australia

This role required a dynamic and adaptable approach, whereby I handled a wide variety of tasks. These include handling Embassy affairs relating to tourism, investment and culture, writing speeches, daily news briefs, and overviews on current foreign and domestic affairs, and coordinating the Ambassador's agenda. I was also responsible for liaising with external stakeholders including government departments and officials, embassies, and businesses to promote Peru’s interests on the global stage, and would often attend meetings and events in lieu of the Ambassador.
Key achievements:
Completing an extensive research project into bi-lateral education services between Peru and Australia through the lens of the Peru-Australia Free Trade Agreement
Streamlining Embassy accounting by moving all accounts online, saving the Embassy hours of accounting work monthly
