Research and analysis
Our research focused on the challenges of moving bulk goods locally and internationally. We analyzed data, studied competitors, and gathered user insights through interviews and surveys.
Research Questions
We identified these pain points:
- Customs clearing delays.
- Difficulty moving goods to ports
- Unreliable handlers.
- Poor tracking options.
- Lack of communication from delivery companies.
While some companies offer hauling and real-time tracking, they struggle with complex bookings, slow responses, high costs, and delays.
Using these insights, we built user personas, mapped user journeys, and designed wireframes to shape the platform. We then created a high-fidelity prototype and tested it to refine the user experience.
Solution
The final design simplified onboarding by asking only essential questions, making it easier than competitors. Personalized dashboards for cargo owners and truck drivers streamlined booking, payment, and order tracking.

Outcomes
Through this process, I learned the importance of thorough research in building user-centered products, challenged my own design biases, and ensured the product aligned with both user needs and business goals.
I also gained hands-on experience in cross-functional collaboration, agile methodologies, and clear process documentation—enhancing my ability to communicate ideas effectively and drive impactful design decisions.
