The golden age of television has brought unprecedented choice to viewers, but with this abundance comes complexity. Today's viewers face a growing challenge: Content is scattered across multiple streaming platforms and cable providers. Users juggle between different apps and interfaces to find what they want to watch, show availability changes as content moves between services, and the simple act of "finding something to watch" has become unnecessarily complicated.

During my time at ViacomCBS, I designed a mobile solution that brings harmony to this chaos - a unified platform that seamlessly integrates both streaming and cable content discovery into one intuitive interface.
TV Guide Walkthrough Experience
The new mobile app was designed to address key challenges concerning content discovery across a myriad of services, with a key focus on:
Universal Search: A universal search that unifies content from multiple services and streaming providers (Netflix, Hulu, CBS, HBO etc.), providing a single point of entry to discover new content.
Personalization: A watchlist that notifies users of any upcoming releases and content from services they are subscribed to, allowing curation of personalized content.
Smart Recommendations: Offering users with smart recommendations based on their preferences and watching habits, enabling tailored content consumption within the context of their lifestyle.
