Cryptocurrency app

[App] is a cryptocurrency tracking application that integrates with global exchange APIs to allow users to monitor and manage their digital assets in real time. The app offers features such as portfolio tracking, transaction history, and performance analytics to help users stay on top of their investments.

I joined the [App] team as a freelance UX/UI designer for a 2-month collaboration focused on improving the app's overall usability and streamlining key user flows.

My main responsibilities included:

Conducting a UX audit of the existing app experience

Identifying pain points in manual portfolio creation and transaction tracking

Designing intuitive and efficient solutions to simplify asset management workflows

Sketches & Low-Fidelity Wireframes I started by mapping out the current user journey and identifying friction points through sketches and low-fidelity wireframes. This phase helped validate early ideas quickly and align with the development team on key improvements.

Mid-Fidelity Prototype I then translated the sketches into a mid-fidelity interactive prototype to test and iterate on the improved flows, particularly focusing on manual portfolio setup and transaction review.

Final Design The final designs introduced a more streamlined onboarding experience for manual portfolio creation, along with clearer feedback on asset tracking and transaction history. The updated interface aimed to reduce cognitive load, improve clarity, and ensure users could confidently manage their crypto assets.
