It's always a blast working for The Range on a show poster to announce our Concert and Vendor Market on March 25th. For this particular poster, I had already created concepts earlier in the month of what I wanted it to look like. I knew going in I wanted this to be the first poster without any photos of the bands that are performing.

I really wanted to nail the vintage look for this design. I especially wanted to make sure I nailed the background text, to make it look like you could feel the ridges of each letter on the paper.

The color pink is a prominent color used by the majority of the bands that are performing, and I feel like it contrasts well with the light blue "MUSIC LIVES HERE" text and the band names cut into the design.
