Icebreaker is an AI-powered sales copilot designed to help executives identify opportunities, understand market signals, and reach out with precision. In modern sales environments, success often depends on timing and context. Sellers must constantly research accounts, monitor industry signals, and craft personalized outreach—tasks that require time and fragmented tools. Icebreaker brings these activities together in a single intelligent environment, transforming raw signals into actionable communication that helps sellers focus on building meaningful conversations.

Context

Account executives spend a significant portion of their day researching companies, tracking contacts, and preparing outreach messages. While these tasks are essential, they are often repetitive and disconnected across multiple platforms. Icebreaker was created to simplify this workflow by continuously gathering account signals, organizing sales context, and helping sellers turn insights into action. The challenge was to design a system that introduces intelligence into the process without overwhelming the user with complexity.

Scope of Work

My role focused on shaping the product experience and establishing the design foundation for the platform. This included product requirement analysis, competitor research, information architecture, interaction design, and the creation of a scalable design system to support the evolving product ecosystem. The goal was to ensure that intelligence, usability, and clarity work together seamlessly.

Design Direction

Icebreaker was designed to feel less like a traditional sales platform and more like a strategic companion. Instead of dense dashboards and complicated workflows, the interface emphasizes clarity and contextual intelligence. A minimal dark-mode environment reduces cognitive load while highlighting the information that matters most. The experience prioritizes guidance rather than control—supporting sellers with insight while allowing them to remain fully in charge of their communication and strategy.

Outcomes

Icebreaker introduces a new approach to sales productivity—one that focuses on signals, intelligence, and thoughtful communication. By transforming fragmented information into clear opportunities for outreach, the platform allows account executives to spend less time preparing and more time building valuable conversations.
