Project Overview

Sisimpur Village is a digital learning platform designed for children, aiming to make early education interactive, engaging and accessible. The traditional offline lessons lacked appeal and scalability in today’s digital world. My goal was to design a digital experience that feels safe, joyful, intuitive, and culturally relevant for children while staying aligned with the educational values of Sisimpur.

Challenges

Designing for children is uniquely demanding because their attention span, motor skills, and comprehension levels differ significantly from adult users. The initial experience lacked a clear learning path, and the navigation patterns were too complex for young learners to follow. Children were often unsure where to tap next, and the interface didn’t provide enough visual or audio guidance. To solve this, the platform needed a new structure—one that reduced cognitive load, reinforced confidence, and offered meaningful cues that guided children naturally through lessons.

Solutions

The experience was redesigned to be character-led, intuitive, and beautifully minimal. Clear learning paths, large tap targets, and guided motion cues help children move through the platform effortlessly. Familiar characters, voice prompts, and soft animations create a warm, confidence-building environment. Navigation is structured around simple, predictable patterns, reducing friction and keeping focus on learning. Every interaction feels intentional—supported by subtle micro-interactions, refined spacing, and an accessible visual hierarchy that empowers young learners to explore independently.
