Revamping Chin Chin’s Website for A Better User Experience

Mark Williams

A complete website overhaul for Chin Chin, enhancing navigation, ordering flow, and catering services with a focus on performance and user experience.

Project Overview

Chin Chin wanted a fresh new website that works for two very different audiences: restaurant-goers and catering clients.
The goal was to simplify navigation, integrate with Paytronix for easy ordering, and give both groups a smooth, seamless experience on any device.
The website needed to be built in Webflow using the Client-First framework to ensure it’s scalable and easy for developers to work with.

Our Process

Discovery & Strategy

We assessed the current website, pinpointed user pain points, and crafted a strategy to enhance user flows for restaurant visitors and catering clients.

Wireframing & Prototyping

Created flexible, scalable wireframes using the Client-First framework and auto-layout principles, ensuring the site was easy to adapt and update.

Design & Development

Applied high-fidelity designs, integrated Paytronix for a seamless ordering experience, and focused on mobile responsiveness and user-friendly navigation.

The Challenge

The old Chin Chin site had a lot of room for improvement. It was clunky, hard to navigate, and didn’t do a good job of separating the needs of diners from catering clients.
Additionally, the ordering experience wasn’t smooth, and the integration with the Paytronix system wasn’t ideal.
The site needed a complete overhaul to make it clean, user-friendly, and developer-friendly, while also ensuring the site was future-proof and easy to maintain.

The Outcome

The new website is a huge improvement in both user experience and performance.

Clearer Paths

Users can easily find what they need, whether it’s restaurant menus, location details, or catering services, with fewer clicks and less confusion.

Smoother Ordering Process

The integration with Paytronix was streamlined, making ordering much faster and easier, with location-specific menus for a more personalized experience.

Mobile-Friendly & Scalable Site

The site is fully responsive, so it works beautifully on any device. Plus, the Client-First framework makes it super easy for developers to maintain and update down the road.
This project helped Chin Chin deliver a better experience for both their customers and their team, all while ensuring the site is built to grow.
