StockFlow — Stock Management Dashboard

Overview
StockFlow is a stock and inventory management dashboard designed for small-to-medium businesses that need a clear, real-time view of their product catalogue, stock levels, and order activity. The brief was to make complex inventory data feel immediately scannable — not overwhelming — so a non-technical admin can act on it fast.
The Design Challenge
Most inventory tools feel like spreadsheets dressed up as software. The challenge was to build something that surfaces what matters most — low stock alerts, out-of-stock products, total inventory value — without burying the user in tables and filters. The goal: a manager should be able to open the dashboard and know exactly what needs attention in under 10 seconds.
What I Designed
The project covers five core screens: the main dashboard with inventory overview and low stock alerts, the full products list with contextual row actions, a product detail side panel, and a product filter modal with category, status, and value range controls.
The dashboard leads with four key stat cards — total inventory value, total products, low stock count, and out-of-stock count — so the most critical numbers are never more than a glance away. Below that, a stacked bar chart breaks down stock health by category, giving the manager a quick visual read on which departments need attention.
The products table is designed for speed: sort controls on every column, a three-dot action menu per row that expands to contextual options (View, Edit, Adjust Stock, Duplicate, Delete), and a side panel that opens product details without leaving the page. The filter modal lets users slice by category, stock status, and quantity or value range — keeping the main table clean while giving power users full control.
